It seems that everything has slowed compared to the first 3 weeks. I think the intensity of the gym work is a lot less even though I am lifting a lot more weight than I ever did. I know that the intensity will increase again for the last two weeks, so if that gets things moving again, it will be evidence that the intensity makes a huge difference for me. This weeks results has me losing a small amount of fat without gaining or losing muscle. I don’t see me any different from last weeks pictures, but overall, I look a little more chiseled than I did in the beginning and my face appears to be leaning out. My bras are getting uncomfortable because I don’t fill them out as much. I will have to get some more comfy ones. My clothes are equally as snug or loose as they were before, I just seem to look better in them. I am still of the vague opinion I need to lose a bit more body weight in fat only to get to where I imagine myself to be, but I’m open minded. I didn’t think I’d look this good at 140, so you can never predict things. Just do and see what happens.
I look forward to my “off” meal today. I’ve been working really hard, completing my taxes, filling out a lot of forms, fighting battles on several fronts and getting places. It is just slow, as the fat loss seems to be. I’m not complaining because forward progress is better than no progress, period.

You are looking a whole lot better but more important is NOT to get down on yourself. Now is when courage is needed to push through to the end. Your mind will always argue with you and it’s up to you to make sure that you feed it with positive reinforcement. You have done so well.
As a leader we need you to push through now….for all of you to support each other.
C’MON NOW LET’S KICK IT INTO TOP GEAR.

I don’t know what ever gave you the idea that I’m down on myself. I show up and do everything according to plan. The rest is not up to me. I’m willing to do anything to get things moving.
I AM totally thrilled by my results. I see myself leaner and looking more like the way I looked all my adult life. It is consistency and persistence that gets me there. It has been a long haul trying to get me back, but giving up doesn’t belong in my vocabulary. Never has, never will. Giving up never got anyone anywhere, ever, did it?

You look so good! Your legs are awesome!!!
Karen
I see it too Ann. You’re legs especially. Look at that muscle popping through! Great work!
Jennifer
Great pics Ann! You can indeed tell the difference – and all of those small losses soon do add up – great job!
Kim
There’s a really big difference in your pictures! I think you’re doing a great job and you’re making progress each week and that’s what matters.

Ann
I see a huge difference in your pics. You are making magnificent progress.
I also feel the progress slowing down a bit. I am ready for more intensity and looking forward to weeks 9 + 10 also.
Jess
You are totally correct. Progress is progress. As long as you’re not going backwards, then you are doing the right things. The body adapts fast unfortunately but before it can continue to adapt the last couple weeks should shake things up.
Keep up the good work.
